An application for the “Erection of Data Storage Facility and Permanent Historical Exhibition” at Dunkirk Pylon has been made to Swale Council.
“The pylon was one of the defensive home chain radar stations during the Second World War. The application is for a data storage facility and permanent historical exhibition, which will presumably relate to the seven sisters pylons and their role during the war”. (Crispin Whiting, KM Faversham News)
