Woodrose Licensed Restaurant and Tea Garden is located within Mount Ephraim in the end of one wing of the main house and at the end of the topiary garden. There is a delighful terrace with seating for about 30 and several rooms inside. These are well worth a look especially for the paintings of the Battle of Bossenden Wood and a great stuffed pike caught from the lake in the grounds.
The Restaurant has a good range of food and there are few better places to spend an hour over a cream tea.
Open for lunch and afternoon tea’s from 12.00 noon till 6pm Wednesday to Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays. Woodrose also cater for private party bookings 7 days a week, small business lunches, birthdays, wakes etc. They close at the end of September for the season.
All ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible. Fruits and vegetables will be used in season either from Mount Ephraim or from local farms.

Our High Tea comprises of a delicious selection of savoury sandwiches, a selection of our scrumptious home-made cake, and of course our fresh home-baked scones with clotted cream and home-made strawberry Jam, all complimented with a pot of English tea.
