Four person Dickens comes to Mount Ephraim House with ‘A Christmas Carol’ on
Sunday 18th December 2011
Critically acclaimed outdoor theatre company The Pantaloons return to the
beautiful surroundings of Mount Ephraim with their hilarious, fast-paced
adaptation of Dickens’s festive favourite A Christmas Carol. With a cast of
just four actors, this production is sure to put a smile on even the
glummest face (even Scrooge’s), using audience interaction, puppetry,
slapstick, original music and traditional carols. Festive fun for the whole
family with larger-than-life characters, puppetry, Victorian carols and no
humbug! Full of contemporary twists to make this much loved tale even more

There will be a service of Remembrance at the war memorial at
10.50am on Sunday 13th November
This Short Service will include the reading of the names of the fallen, laying of wreathes, two minutes silence and sounding of the Last Post & Reveille. The service will be followed by refreshments in St. Michael’s Church.

I’ve been contacted by several people lately who are experiencing very slow broadband speed in the Parish. This was raised at a Parish Council meeting in light of the money that KCC has received to help fund rural broadband projects but the consensus was that in general speed is acceptable.

St. Michael’s Church was adorned with the most fantastic and imaginative flower displays this weekend. The theme of this years Flower Festival was “Celebrations”.
