We would like to thank everyone who has visited the Exchange Cafe over the last few months, whether it was to have a cup of tea, hold a stall or buy something from one of them. Thank you for your support!
What is the Exchange Cafe?
- For school parents and members of the local community, the Exchange Cafe is a place for you to get together with friends or relax with a book while the children play in the playground or join in with the free activities and games.
- For children and parents it is a place to donate/swap/sell unwanted items including clothes, uniform, books and games – or sell household items at your own table-top stall.
- For local businesses it is a place to sell your produce or promote your business.
- The Exchange Cafe also works in partnership with the Hernhill Forum website as a place to bring ideas, plan and promote community events, charity events, workshops and other activities.
If you have a local community group, charity or business you would like to promote, please come along to the Cafe or contact the Hernhill Forum and we are happy to do anything we can to support you. We particularly encourage local schools and other community groups to use the Cafe and the Forum to publicise events and activities to everyone in the community.
If you are planning any community activities or charity fund-raising events locally, please let us know and we will do anything we can to support you.
If you have ideas for workshops, classes or other activities you would like to offer or see provided locally, please contact us and we will do whatever we can to help organise this. Please look at the Hernhill Forum website for information regarding workshops we are already providing.
The Cafe will be open every Friday during term-time 3.00 -4.30pm. See you there!
